I am a final-year PhD student seeking a postdoctoral research opportunity. My research focuses on comparing and evaluating different optimization methods for the radiotherapy scheduling problem.
I am particularly interested in research positions in Operations Research, scheduling, routing, and combinatorial optimization, especially approaches based on metaheuristics.
Short CV: PhD candidate in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Trento, with a research focus on Operations Research, combinatorial optimization, and scheduling problems in healthcare. My PhD research investigates optimization approaches for radiotherapy treatment scheduling, with particular emphasis on comparing exact methods, genetic algorithms, metaheuristics, and hybrid optimization techniques. I also have research experience in job shop scheduling, evolutionary optimization, and agent-based modeling, supported by publications in international conferences and workshops. I am particularly interested in developing and evaluating metaheuristic and AI-based optimization methods for complex real-world problems.
